I am going with saving the little sister and Even though you get less adam for saving them now and then you get rewards for saving and as I said it pretty much breaks it even. In the long run, you get around more Adam if you harvest all of them, but lose out on a few tonics. It's really a toss-up as far as gameplay goes, but if you harvest any, you miss out on an achievement. There are two 'bad' endings.
