For seniors: Seniors may be more sensitive to the sedating effects of this drug. They may be more likely to experience severe drowsiness, reduced mental alertness, and confusion.

Your doctor may start you on a lower dose or a different medication schedule. This can help keep levels of this drug from building up too much in your body. Note: This drug is not recommended to treat uncomplicated vomiting in children. It should only be used to treat extended periods of vomiting when the cause is known.
